Both Catania and Fiorentina are interested in signing Brescia’s attacking midfielder Panagiotis Kone.

Greek international Kone, who was named in his national side’s provisional squad for Euro 2012 only to not make the final cut for the tournament proper, spent last season on loan at Bologna.

However, in light of Alessandro Diamanti and Gaston Ramirez’ form in the second half of 2011-12, the 24-year-old struggled for playing time, with almost half his eventual appearances for the Rossoblu coming from the bench.
