Francesco Totti is reportedly ready to sue former Fiorentina midfielder Amaral who accused the ex-Roma captain to have racially abused him during their playing career.
Alexandre da Silva Mariano, commonly known as Amaral, played for Fiorentina from 2000 to 2002.
He has recently spoken with a Portuguese TV accusing Totti of racially abusing him.
“He used to call me n*** on the pitch and said I was eating s*** in the favelas,” he said, according to Calciomercato.com.

“I threatened him but [Angelo] Di Livio stoppned me saying he was the captain.”
In an interview with Il Messaggero, Di Livio denied Amaral’s claims: “He is only looking for publicity. I can assure you that he never said anything like that to me.”
According to the Italian paper, however, Totti is ready to sue the former Fiorentina midfielder.
