Francesco Totti sent a message of support to Roma teammate Kevin Strootman – ‘we’re waiting for you my friend’.
The Dutch midfielder underwent a third knee operation this morning, and though the procedure was a success, he’s facing an indeterminate spell on the sidelines.
“Kevin, we are all with you,” Totti wrote on his official website.

In addition, fans, members of the Roma squad and even Coach Rudi Garcia have been taking selfies with their washing machines, in support of the midfielder.
What might seem a bizarre trend is in fact a reference to Garcia describing Strootman as a washing machine, in reference to the way he “cleans up” bad play.
