Francesco Totti has revealed who he would like to win the Coppa Italia out of Inter and Fiorentina, while also confirming who he would like to see lift the Champions League trophy at the end of the final between the Nerazzurri and Manchester City on June 10.

The former Roma captain spoke to Sportmediaset at the Roma Termini station on Tuesday afternoon, while awaiting the arrival of the Coppa Italia trophy ahead of the final at his former stomping ground, the Stadio Olimpico, on Wednesday night.

He told the press that he ‘would be happy’ if Fiorentina went on to win the title, which would be La Viola’s first victorious campaign in the competition since the 2000-01 season, however he also admitted that he wouldn’t be surprised if Inter took the lead in the final.

“There isn’t a clear favourite,” Totti said. “It’s difficult to call it in a final, in a one-off match where anything can happen. Between the two, Inter will go ahead, but I’d be happy if Fiorentina won.”

Totti then continued by explaining that he would be pleased if Inter went on to win the Champions League final against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

“Maybe Inter would make up for it in the Champions League. It would be nice,” Totti admitted.
