Roma captain Francesco Totti claims he didn't deserve to be sent off against Lecce on Saturday evening.
The 34-year-old was dismissed after he clashed off the ball with Ruben Oliveira, who was also red carded.
Andrea Gervasoni, the referee, noted in his match report: "He raised his hand to the opponent's face. I couldn't but take out a red card."
However, both players insisted that they didn't touch each other amid speculation that a slap was thrown.

Totti was furious with the decision, as it means he misses this weekend's derby against Lazio.
"I didn't do anything," he said. "I have not given anyone a slap. I didn't deserve the sending off."
Il Corriere dello Sport understands Roma will appeal Totti's suspension if it is for any longer than one match.
