Francesco Totti hopes Roma will meet José Mourinho’s transfer demands and praises ‘special’ Paulo Dybala.

The Giallorossi legend released an interview with Sport Mediaset, discussing Roma’s situation, on and off the pitch.

“Dybala is a phenomenon, a player who is above the others and has always proved his worth,” said the former No.10.

“I am happy that he joined Roma because he deserves it and because the city must have a player of his value. You can understand when players are special, he’s proving so with great performances. We are happy to have it at Roma, we are enjoying his performance.

“Roma’s main target is a Champions League placement, but we know it won’t be easy. The season is long and anything can happen,” continued the former Azzurri star.

Totti also discussed Mourinho’s transfer requests, with the coach expecting new signings in January.

“Every coach wants a competitive team and hopefully, the club can meet his demands.”

Last but not least, Totti was asked whether he’d talk again to Luciano Spalletti if he had a chance.

“I haven’t spoken to him recently, I’ve already said what I think. If it happens, I’ll talk to him as I do with everyone else.”
