According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Totti has been tasked with the job of offering the Chelsea outcast to Serie A clubs and Milan’s Technical Director Paolo Maldini is among the first people Totti called on the phone.
The Rossoneri are strongly interested in signing the 27-year-old defender but have also been negotiating Schalke 04’s Ozan Kabak.
Totti has also offered Rudiger to his former club Roma where he had played from 2015 until 2017 scoring two goals in 72 games. The German defender joined Chelsea in summer 2017 for €39m, bonus included. He has won the FA Cup in 2018 and the Europa League in 2019 while at the Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger i salso being linked with a move to Tottenham but a move to North London is off Totti’s hands.
