Roma icon Francesco Totti says he 'doesn't know' whether he'll play next year, while admitting 'Leo Messi is the world's strongest'.

The 38-year-old veteran is still an effective component in Roma's attack, but he admits the future is beginning to show signs of uncertainty.

“This year I was here, but next year? I don't know,” he said, as reported by Il Messaggero.

“Rudi Garcia? I didn't know him at first, among other things because Roma knows only one Rudi: Voeller.

“But now I hope that we can go on and win together.

“I'm at home here so I know the scene and I know what being a Roman means.

“What our tifosi feel for us, we feel it for them. It's a reciprocal love that we carry in our hearts.”

When a child asked Garcia what it was like to train the best in the world, Totti laughed and disagreed.

“I love you! But the world's strongest is Barcelona's [Leo] Messi. Don't worry, he'll be signing for Roma soon.”
