Roma face an injury crisis against Cesena, as Philippe Mexes got his test results, while Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi abandoned training today.

The official club website confirmed that Totti and De Rossi “interrupted today's training session ahead of time.

Mexes is definitely out of that match, although test results were more reassuring than initially feared.

The French defender only “elongated” the muscle in his right thigh, “excluding lesions.”

He will require more tests over the next few days, but it is highly unlikely he will recover in time for this weekend.
