Tottenham Hotspur director Fabio Paratici is already in Italy and reportedly has meetings planned with Milan for Japhet Tanganga, Sampdoria for Bryan Gil and Roma for Nicolò Zaniolo.

The former Juventus chief landed in Milan this evening, where the majority of transfer deals are done in the Italian market.

Multiple sources including Tuttomercatoweb and Sky Sports UK claim he will meet with Milan directors on Tuesday to discuss the loan with option to buy for defender Tanganga.

The 23-year-old is a product of the Spurs youth academy and eager to follow in the footsteps of ex-Chelsea centre-back Fikayo Tomori at San Siro.

Paratici is also trying to find a club for Bryan Gil to join on loan, and Sampdoria are believed to be interested.

It’s not just about whittling down the squad, because Calciomercato.com maintain Paratici will try to catch up with Roma chief Tiago Pinto on the situation regarding Zaniolo.

The versatile Italy international is having some issues regarding a contract extension and his future could be in doubt with the arrival of Paulo Dybala as a free agent.

Juventus were the favourites for Zaniolo, but seem to have turned their focus back towards Alvaro Morata of Atletico Madrid.

Roma want at least €50m cash in order to sell Zaniolo, who can play in a variety of attacking roles and has two goals in nine senior Italy caps.

  1. I see reports that Zaniolo met with Mou after Dybala arrival and that a renewal discussion was on the cards, now this. Which one is the truth?

  2. @JASON, Tottenham have been after Zaniolo for a little while now. Zaniolo agreed today to stay with us. Don’t worry.
