Pierluigi Gollini has shared some photos of his latest business venture, a new padel centre in his home town Ferrara.

The 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper joined Tottenham on a loan deal with a buy option last summer from Atalanta, and he is still keeping closely tied to his homeland.

As seen in a post on Gollini’s Instagram page, he is preparing to open a padel centre in Ferrara, which is currently under construction.

The Italian shot stopper commented on the project, saying:

“My home, my roots, my people… This is where I was born and where I have nurtured my love for sport, and I could only start from here with this new project of mine.

“After many months and a lot of work, everything is starting to take shape!”

The 26-year-old Gollini has struggled to make a strong impact in North London this season; he has only made 10 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham, for a total of 900 minutes. In that time, he has conceded 11 goals and kept two clean sheets, struggling to displace Hugo Lloris in the starting lineup. He has not yet made a Premier League appearance this campaign.

The buy option would cost Spurs €15m and there’s no guarantee that they’ll activate it, meaning that a return to Atalanta in the summer is a possibility for the Italian goalkeeper.
