Tottenham have submitted an offer to Juventus for Weston McKennie but it did not convince the Bianconeri.

The two clubs have been in contact for weeks now, with two players in particular being discussed. The first of these is Dejan Kulusevski, but Spurs’ offer of Giovani Lo Celso in an equal exchange did not result in a deal, with Juventus instead wanting €35m in cash. The other player is McKennie.

As reported by, coach Massimiliano Allegri is not keen to lose McKennie but a good offer may chance the situation. The Bianconeri would want around €30m for the 23-year-old American midfielder and for now, no other deals are being considered.

Tottenham offered Tanguy Ndombelé in exchange for McKennie but that offer was declined. The French midfielder’s salary, over €10m per year, is too much for the Bianconeri, whose priority is lowering their wage bill. Another swap deal could happen, but the player would need to be functional to Allegri’s game and not impact the wage bill too much.
