Torino’s Soualiho Meite is being courted by Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and he has reportedly given the green light for a move.

According to Italian newspaper La Stampa, Spurs have entered the race to sign the Former Auxerre youth product.

The 25-year-old has had an impressive season for the Granata since joining from AS Monaco for €10m last summer – in a deal that saw left-back Antonio Barreca go in the opposite direction.

Toro will want double that fee for a player that has become an integral part of Coach Walter Mazzarri’s plans this term.

Meite has put together 33 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, scoring two goals along with two assists.
