Tottenham are looking to provide Antonio Conte with some much-needed reinforcements in January and two players they’re reportedly keen to pick up are Alessandro Bastoni and Weston McKennie.

Spurs booked their spot in the Champions League knock-out stages with a tense win over Olympique Marseille in their final group outing and are doing well domestically, sitting fourth in the Premier League table after 14 games. Conte has made it clear that investments are needed to allow the squad to challenge for silverware in England and the club seem ready to respond.

As reported by The Sun, one of Tottenham’s key targets for January is the 23-year-old Bastoni, who is contracted to Inter until 2024. The North London outfit are preparing a bid worth around €50m for the Italian defender and will need to convince both the Nerazzurri and the player of a deal.

McKennie is another one of Conte’s targets and would be easier to pick up, with Juventus willing to let the American midfielder leave in January.
