According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan have resumed their interest in Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga, who can leave North London for €10-12m.

The 23-year-old is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans, especially after the imminent signing of Clement Lenglet from Barcelona.

Tanganga had already been linked with a move to the Stadio Meazza in January, following a severe knee injury for Simon Kjaer. However, the Rossoneri eventually decided not to sign any centre-back and Stefano Pioli successfully deployed Pierre Kalulu in central defence.

Tanganga can reportedly leave Tottenham for €10-12m. Milan’s primary target was Lille’s Sven Botman, but the Serie A champions refused to match Newcastle’s €40m bid, so the Dutchman eventually moved to St. James’ Park.

Tanganga’s contract in North London runs out in June 2025. He played 11 games under Antonio Conte last season.

The English centre-back is not Milan’s only target in defence, as the Rossoneri have also been linked with PSG’s Abdou Diallo and Lazio‘s Francesco Acerbi.

3 thought on “Tottenham set asking price for Milan target Tanganga”
  1. Do we have to sign another English center-back? He’s no Tomori.

I don’t like it, but gotta trust in Maldini and co I suppose.

  2. I’m surprised at the price. I like him, so if we do sign a CB then this is a good option, but….

    WE DON’T NEED A CB.

Gabbia. Just give Gabbia some games.

All we need at the back is cover for Theo. Spend the rest on creativity, pleeeeaaase!

  3. No body knew Tomori would evolve into The “young lion” so if Tanganga, comes who knows what he might turn into then Gabbia he’s good too i like him a lot he reminds me of our Departed captain but in all I believe in Maldini so we are good to go on the defense, let’s get the second Star ✨ ASAP
