Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, ready to fight Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and more in January for over €50m.

The Morocco international has been the revelation of the World Cup in Qatar, leading his men to their historic first ever semi-final.

Although they were defeated 2-0 by France last night, the Atlas Lions will challenge Croatia for third place on Sunday.

Fiorentina have made it clear they do not want to sell Amrabat, but the interest he is attracting could tempt them into a sale at the right price.

According to La Repubblica, that will be an absolute minimum of €50m, a figure that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur may well be prepared to pay.

Liverpool and Atletico Madrid had already been linked with Amrabat, who cost Fiorentina just under €20m to sign from Hellas Verona in January 2020.

The 26-year-old has so far this season made 20 competitive appearances for the Viola between Serie A and the Conference League.

  1. Say no, his reputation could earn Fiorentina that alone, PSG and the Premiership always have to ruin it for Serie A, you were never interested in him before.

  2. We should sell him while the hype is still going, he’s a good player but not 50mln good, also he is not a perfect fit for the Italians football. Better sell him and bring back Torreira, I say.

  3. He makes 1 good sliding tackle on Mbappe and he is now worth 50mil? Clubs have way too much money to waste now days and seem to be run by clowns. Also Fiorentincheg, what do you mean by Italians Football? The guy has obviously caught the eye of other football clubs meaning he must be good. The opposite of good in football would be donkey ball or slow ball you clown.
