Tottenham are so pleased with Destiny Udogie’s performances in North London that they have already reached an agreement to extend the Italy international’s contract, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Udogie signed with Tottenham in 2022 but spent last season on loan at Udinese before formally moving to North London this past June.

The 21-year-old has immediately become a regular starter under Ange Postecoglou, making 14 Premier League appearances and scoring his first goal for Spurs on Sunday, in a 4-1 win over Newcastle (VIDEO).

According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have been so impressed by the ex-Udinese defender that they’ve already reached an agreement to extend his contract. The Italian transfer pundit claims Udogie will get a pay rise in his new deal, which the two parties have already agreed on.

Udogie’s current contract in North London runs out in June 2027.

The Tottenham left-back made his senior Italy debut as a substitute in a 4-0 win over Malta on October 14, 2023, and started his first game with the Azzurri three days later in a 3-1 loss to England at Wembley Stadium.
