Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Alvaro Morata and are pushing to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina with Giovanni Lo Celso possibly included in the deal.

Amrabat is not a regular starter at the Artemio Franchi and Spurs are in talks over a loan move with an option to buy for €15m. Fiorentina are open to selling Amrabat but want €20m to sell the 25-year-old permanently in July.

The Morocco international has only played 290 minutes across 12 appearances in all competitions this season.

La Repubblica Firenze reports Fiorentina are trying to get Giovanni Lo Celso from the Premier League, although the player’s €3.5m-a-year salary could be an issue.

Sources close to Fiorentina deny the Tuscans are interested in the Argentinean midfielder, but La Repubblica insists talks between the two clubs are ongoing.

According to Cadena Cope in Spain, Spurs and Newcastle United have also joined the race for Alvaro Morata, who will end his loan spell at Juventus after the signing Dusan Vlahovic.

There are mixed reports regarding the future of the Spaniard. While Cadena Cope claims Atletico Madrid are ready to loan Morata, El Chiringuito reports the Colchoneros are planning to replace Luis Suarez with the Spain international in 2022-23.

Tottenham have missed out on several of their January transfer targets with Frack Kessié, Adama Traore and Luis Diaz who reportedly snubbed a move to North London.
