Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will miss both Champions League games with Milan due to a knee injury.

The French goalkeeper has been ruled out for up to eight weeks following a knee injury suffered in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester City last week.

This means that Lloris will miss both Champions League games with Serie A defending champions Milan in the Champions League.

The first leg is at San Siro on February 14 and the return fixture is in London on March 8.

Milan will also do without their starting goalkeeper Mike Maignan in the first leg in Milan, but hope to see the France goalkeeper back at the Tottenham Stadium in March.

Maignan has been out of action since September when he sustained a calf injury while on international duty with France.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Maignan hasn’t yet recovered from his injury and is not expected to be back before the beginning of March.

  1. You would think this is good news but we literally couldn’t hit a barn door with a machine gun at the moment
