Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering making another attempt to sign former Inter and Juventus coach Antonio Conte.
The former Italy CT has been linked with the Manchester United job in recent weeks and had reportedly given his availability to the Premier League giants.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bought himself more time at the helm with a 3-0 win over Spurs on Saturday, strengthening his own position at Old Trafford.
But it certainly put more pressure on Nuno Espirito Santo, who has struggled to convince at Tottenham and SportItalia reports the Lilywhites are considering the options to replace the Portuguese coach.
Nuno moved from Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, but Spurs had contacted Conte first.
Conte, who won the Scudetto with Inter last season, snubbed Spurs during the summer, but claimed he didn’t reject the job for economic reasons.
The Italian coach said the project in London didn’t convince him, but SportItalia reveals Fabio Paratici is considering making another attempt to persuade the former Bianconeri midfielder.
