Juventus benchwarmer Dejan Kulusevski could be sold in January if a club comes in with €35-40m, according to reports, with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Bayern Munich the main contenders.

The Sweden international was signed from Atalanta in January 2020 for €35m plus up to €9m in various performance-related bonuses.

He remained on loan at Parma for another six months, but has since struggled for regular playing time at Juve under both Andrea Pirlo and Max Allegri.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Bianconeri would be prepared to sell in the January transfer window for a minimum of €35-40m.

Tottenham would be the most likely destination, especially as it was current Spurs director of sport Fabio Paratici who negotiated and clinched the deal in the first place when he was working for Juventus.

Arsenal and Bayern Munich had also been interested at the time and remain admirers of the Swede, who is after all only 21 years old.

He has made 21 competitive appearances for the club this season between Serie A and the Champions League, contributing one goal and three assists.

However, all those amounted to just 724 minutes of football.

11 thought on “Tottenham, Arsenal and Bayern eye Juventus outcast Kulusevski”
  1. He has technique but seems to lack a bit of aggression and energy, especially when it come to shooting and scoring.
But I get the strange feeling that Juventus could live to regret this sale. Bayern Munich are not the kind of club who buy flops- just look at Coman.
And Conte is no fool either.

  2. Coman is always injured, so I don’t think he was a major loss for Juve at all. Selling Kulusevski seems like an easy decision, he is unbelievably predictable with his focus on the left foot. Definitely sell Kulu for 35m immediately.

  3. I exlected much from him but his body balance and strenght is awful, he is standing just like 1 year old baby so unstable on his feet… But Infell this is fixable

  4. if we get 35 mill for Kulusevski Juve is 35 mill short for Vlahovic – Please sell !!!

  5. My critique on this guy is that as a winger he lacks genuine pace, he never seems to beat his man. Chiesa has that in his game but Kulu doesn’t have that in his locker. Saying that doesn’t help working with Allegri!

  6. Playing under Allegri doesn’t help, but he won’t be first choice at those clubs either, probably.

He should join a club where he plays every week. He could be very good then.

  7. He’s not good enough for a top club but I agree that Allegri probably isn’t utilizing him properly.

The observation about his lack of co-ordination and the way he runs is something I’ve noticed too.
