The father of Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira says a move to Napoli is “among the discarded hypotheses”.
The Uruguayan has been repeatedly linked with the Partenopei, but talks appear to have collapsed and his agent is talking with other clubs.
“We’re trying to find the best opportunity for Lucas,” Ricardo Torreira told CalcioNapoli24.

“We’re trying to find the best opportunity for Lucas,” Ricardo Torreira told CalcioNapoli24.
“It’s the first time we’ve been faced with so many offers for Lucas and that makes us proud. There’s still plenty of time for Lucas to define his future.
“At the moment Napoli is among the discarded hypotheses.
“I don’t know what the talks were between Napoli and Sampdoria, right now we haven’t had talks with any team, but at the moment Napoli remain out of the discourse.
“I don’t know Naples, I’ve never had the chance to get to know it, I’ve only been in Pescara and Genoa because of my son.
“I’m sure it’s a beautiful city, I’ve talked to people who have been there and they confirmed as much, all of Italy is very beautiful.”
