Cagliari could send full-back Gregory van der Wiel to Toronto FC for a new phase of his career in MLS.
According to Mediaset Premium, the 29-year-old Dutch right-back is the subject of an offer from the reigning Major League Soccer champions.
He only joined Cagliari in late August for €1m from Fenerbahce, having previously played for Ajax and Paris Saint-Germain.
Van der Wiel struggled to adapt to Serie A and was given only five appearances.
It’s reported Cagliari are prepared to sell, but only if they have a replacement in hand.
