Serie B side Torino are looking to reinforce their squad with veteran Cristiano Zanetti of Fiorentina.

The 33-year-old doesn't seem to feature in the plans of Viola boss Sinisa Mihajlovic and may be on the verge of an exit.

Zanetti, signed from Juventus in the summer of 2009, could leave in January given that his contract expires in June 2011.

Parma have also been associated with the 2002 World Cup player, but Torino are showing real interest.

In fact, whispers suggest that Toro officials have already made contact with their Fiorentina counterparts over the midfield organiser.

However, it's understood that Zanetti would have to take a pay cut if he were to join the Second Division giants and that may prove to be a problem.
