Torino beating Napoli and Juventus to Frosinone defender Federico Gatti is sparking a transfer domino effect for Rade Dragusin, Armando Izzo, Cagliari, Sampdoria and Salernitana.

Toro have been very active in the January window, as President Urbano Cairo pushes to reinforce the squad for coach Ivan Juric.

Samuele Ricci was already snapped up from Empoli and now Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia both report a deal is done for Frosinone defender Gatti at €9m including add-ons.

The 23-year-old impressed in Serie B this season and had also been linked with Napoli and Juventus for next summer, but Torino seem to have swooped in early to secure his signature.

Gatti has an eye for goal, scoring three times in 18 Serie B appearances this season.

As a knock-on effect, Izzo has no room at Torino and is now on his way towards Cagliari rather than Salernitana, where he can reunite with former Granata coach Walter Mazzarri.

In turn, Salernitana are bringing in Dragusin on loan from Juventus, as the Romania international centre-back had been on loan at Sampdoria.
