Toro opted against selling him this summer on their return to the top flight, but they may make a different decision in 2013.
“We didn’t plan to lose him,” Toro sporting director Gianluca Petrachi noted. “We’ll assess the situation again in June.
“If a top club did come close to him then we wouldn’t clip his wings.”
The 24-year-old is a product of the Torino youth system who has been linked with Milan, Napoli and city rivals Juventus in the past.
