The Granata hope to make it three games without defeat but face a tough task according to these Torino vs. Atalanta predictions. La Dea have been inconsistent this season but remain within touching distance of European football.

Torino vs. Atalanta odds

1 – A draw at full-time – 12/5

2 – Both teams to score – 6/7

3 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 4/5

4 – Rasmus Hojlund to score first – 11/2

5 – Antonio Sanabria to score anytime – 5/2

Atalanta look to maintain their strong record against Torino as they travel to Piedmont on Saturday afternoon. La Dea have not lost in any of their last six encounters with the Granata but go into the weekend’s fixture in underwhelming form.

In fact, despite the four places in the league table separating the two teams, they have rarely been on such level footing in recent seasons. As a result, it would be no surprise to see the match finish in a draw, a result that has played out twice in the past two years.

Recent clashes between the two teams suggest that the fixture at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino could be highly entertaining. On average there have been 5.5 goals scored per game in the last six meetings between Atalanta and Torino. Both teams have scored on every occasion, other than with the 7-0 thrashing by La Dea.

As a result, a wager on both teams to score may well be worth the risk. But it may not be wise to bet on a similarly high-scoring match. Torino have been incredibly defensively sound this season, conceding the joint seventh fewest in the league.

Furthermore, Ivan Juric’s side put on a defensive master class against Lazio last weekend, securing a clean sheet and a win. Given the hosts in-form back-line and Atalanta’s uncharacteristically quiet forwards this season, a punt on a lower than average scoreline might pay off. Torino fans have not witnessed more than two scored in any of their past four games.

In spite of this potentially bleak forecast, there will be plenty of exciting attacking talent on display on Saturday. Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund has been one of Serie A’s breakout players this season and his mobility could see him add to his seven goals this season against Torino.

At the opposite end of the pitch, Antonio Sanabria is having his most prolific season at Torino – with nine to his name. The forward has scored in every other game in the last eight rounds and, having drawn a blank against Lazio, is due a goal on Saturday.
