Torino to discuss Belotti’s future

Urbano Cairo confirms Torino will soon discuss the future of Andrea Belotti: ‘We need to understand what we want.’

The contract of the Italy international expires in 2022 and several clubs, including Roma and Milan are reportedly interested in securing his services.

“[Torino sporting director Davide] Vagnati is already in talks with Belotti’s agent,” Cairo told Tutti Convocati.

“I will do the same, we need to sit down and understand what we want to do,” the President continued.

Torino earned a point against Lazio on Tuesday, securing Serie A survival.

“I hoped for a more important target, we were used to different results,” Cairo admitted.

“We only managed 14 points in the Girone d’Andata, way too little. But the comeback with [Davide] Nicola was great.

“I will talk to him after the game against Benevento on Sunday.”
