Torino are in advanced negotiations with Olympique Marseille to sign striker Luis Henrique on loan with an option to buy.

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia are confident that today’s meeting made significant progress in the talks between the clubs.

A deal is likely to be done initially on a paid loan with an option to buy for €7-8m.

The 20-year-old Brazilian plays on the left side of attack, but can also work on the right.

He was purchased from Tres Passos in Brazil in September 2020 for €8m and his contract with Marseille runs to June 2025.

He contributed one goal and one assist in 25 competitive games for Olympique Marseille this season, but most of them were off the bench for just a handful of minutes on the pitch.

New Marseille director of sport Javier Ribalta met with Torino transfer chief Davide Vagnati this afternoon and they still don’t have the all-clear from the player himself to this move.
