Torino have agreed terms to sign striker Pietro Pellegri on a permanent basis from AS Monaco after his loan spell.

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere Granata all have the same details of the move.

The clubs have even exchanged documents and the transfer is believed to be worth circa €5m plus performance-related bonuses.

That is a discount from the agreed €6m plus add-ons fee that had been agreed in January.

Monaco had purchased Pellegri from Genoa in January 2018 for €21m, but a series of injuries stalled his career badly.

He had a loan spell at Milan in 2021, then moved over to Torino in January 2022.

The 21-year-old finally got some regular playing time with the Granata, scoring one goal in nine Serie A appearances.

This is a reunion with coach Ivan Juric, who was in charge of Genoa when Pellegri got his Serie A debut in 2017, becoming the youngest ever player to score a brace in the Italian top flight at 16 years and 184 days.
