Torino are looking to make a move for Galatasaray full back Angelino in the closing days of this transfer window, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The Granata have been almost silent in the January transfer market so far, not bringing in a single reinforcement in the first three weeks. Ivan Juric’s side have done fairly well this term and sit 10th in the league table, five points behind the European spots.

Juric’s contract with Torino expires at the end of this season and it may take some convincing for him to pen a new deal, so the club are planning to act before the transfer market closes at the end of this month.

As reported by Di Marzio, Torino are closely following Galatasaray’s Angelino and are expected to come forward with an offer in the coming days, hoping to sign the full back on a six-month loan deal with a €4-5m buy option attached.

The 27-year-old Spaniard joined Galatasaray from RB Leipzig last summer on a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached.

Angelino’s arrival in Torino also depends on the departure of Brandon Soppy, who is currently out with an injury.
