Nemanja Radonjic has taken to social media to hit back at Torino coach Ivan Juric after his scathing post-match interview following the 4-2 loss to Juventus in the Derby della Mole on Tuesday evening.

Shortly after Juric’s comments were aired, Radonjic posted a brief message to his instagram story stating: “Believe in yourself, even when no one else does. God sees everything”.

Speaking to DAZN after Torino’s 4-2 loss against Juventus at the Allianz stadium, Juric claimed Radonjic had “no respect for the sport.”

He continued: “You have things that you know you need to do, you come on and immediately do the opposite, it means you are not in the game.”

“This lad has talent, but evidently in these six months working together I have been unable to turn him into a football player. On a corner, you need to be present and alert. You can do it well or badly, but you must be present.”

The 27-year-old Serbian international was introduced as a substitute only to be hauled off again 15 minutes later, following Gleison Bremer’s goal that gave Juventus the lead in the second half.

Despite his 21 Serie A appearances this campaign, Radonjic has clearly failed to make a lasting impression on his temporary employers.

Radonjic joined Torino on loan from Olympique Marseille last summer and the Granata retain the option to turn his loan into a permanent deal at the end of the season. However, it remains to be seen if the Serie A side will be interested in buying the Serbian permanently following Juric’s comments on Tuesday.
