Torino have reportedly submitted a proposal to Bundesliga side Union Berlin to sign former Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens on loan for the 2024-25 season.

Torino offer Gosens Serie A return

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Torino are pushing to sign Gosens on loan with an option to buy. The suggested fee to make the move permanent stands at €7m, but the Bundesliga outfit are hoping for slightly more.

Torino would also have to pay Union a fee to bring Gosens in on loan for the season, and would be responsible for covering his wages in full.

The two sides are expected to continue in their negotiations into the coming week.

A 20-time Germany international, Gosens has only spent one season of his professional career in the Bundesliga, having joined Union in a reported €15m move from Inter this time last year.

Prior to his 18 months with the Nerazzurri, Gosens had four-and-a-half seasons in Serie A under Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta.
