Torino meet with Milan for Pobega

Torino reportedly met with Milan and Tommaso Pobega’s entourage to sound out a possible move this summer.

The Rossoneri have been active this summer after selling Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek and working on deals for Tijjani Reijnders and Yunus Musah as they look to bolster their midfield.

Pobega did not feature regularly under Stefano Pioli last season, seeing only 878 minutes of action across 19 Serie A matches for Milan.

As reported by TMW, Torino set up a meeting with Milan and Pobega’s entourage to start discussing a possible deal this summer.

The Rossoneri made it clear that they’re not interested in selling the 24-year-old at this stage, believing that he can still play a part in Pioli’s project at the club.

Things could change later in the summer, however, depending on Milan’s next moves in the transfer market. Pobega has four years left on his contract with the Rossoneri.
