Torino coach Marco Giampaolo has reportedly targeted Lech Poznan attacker Filip Marchwinski with Sampdoria forward Gaston Ramirez as an alternative.

Ramirez reportedly rejected a move to Hellas Verona this week but could be an option for Giampaolo at the Grande Torino.

The former Sampdoria coach wants a new trequartista in Turin and today’s edition of Tuttosport reveals the Granata prefer to bring 18-year-old Marchwinski to Serie A.

Lech Poznan have started their season in the Ekstraklasa and the youngster has played twice already this season, building on his 20 appearances in 2019-20.

If Torino can’t reach an agreement with the Polish side, Giampaolo has allegedly suggested a move for Ramirez.
