A surprising exit from Fiorentina could be on the cards for Milan Badelj, according to La Stampa.

The Croatian came back to Florence on a loan deal from Lazio and is currently under a contract with the Biancocelesti.

The newspaper claims that Torino has put Badelj’s name down on their list of transfer targets in January and could make an offer, despite the player being a regular at the Viola this term.

The 30-year-old moved to Fiorentina from Hamburger SV in August 2014 and left the club on a free transfer to Lazio in the summer of 2018.

He came back ahead of this season after only 23 games for the Biancocelesti and has played 16 games in Serie A, scoring one goal in the process.
