Torino are involved in the survival race as they only managed six points in 11 Serie A games so far.

They are only one point above last-placed Crotone who won the first game of the season against Spezia yesterday.

That would be enough to make Torino fans angry, but the Granata supporter have also been upset by their captain Salvatore Sirigu who was caught smiling after Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat at hands of Udinese.

This case came after Jacopo Segre’s picture with Paulo Dybala’s shirt after the Turin derby lost at the Allianz Stadium last week.

Torino fans hit out at the young midfielder who had to apologise on social media.

Despite a disappointing start to the season, Torino president Urbano Cairo has claimed he still believes in Marco Giampaolo.
