Torino fans are reportedly livid after the Granata agreed to sell star defender Gleison Bremer to intercity rivals Juventus.

The 25-year-old Brazilian centre back was one of the best defenders in Italy last season and it soon became clear that he’d be departing Ivan Juric’s side this summer. Inter had long been interested and the move looked all but certain, but their hesitation allowed Juventus to outbid them and agree a deal after selling Matthijs de Ligt to Bayern Munich.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Torino fans have not taken the sale of Bremer to Juventus particularly well, being evident based on the state of president Urbano Cairo’s Instagram posts. The Brazilian defender, likely planning ahead, changed his account settings yesterday to disable new comments.

The 25-year-old is expected to carry out his medicals with Juventus tomorrow ahead of the €50m total move.

Considering that Torino fans still haven’t forgiven Aldo Serena and Federico Balzaretti for their intercity transfers, it’s unlikely Bremer will ever receive a warm reception again on the Granata side of the city.

  1. How about Angelo Ogbonna? And I agree, they can take players but are mad when they sell others. Hypocrisy.

  2. Superior club?
Funny what has juve won lately. All these foreigners
    They win nothing again.
Looking at rooster and I can’t see more then two Italians on starting g line up. What a shame !
    They ruin young Italians

  3. @Tony, Juve starting lineup has more Italians than any top 4 finished team. Pellegrini/De Sciglio, Bonucci, Locatelli, Chiesa.
    Inter has Bastoni & Barella.
    Milan has Florenzi & Tonali.
Napoli has Meret, Di Lorenzo and Politano.
    Check your facts pal

Don’t use “us”. I am a Juve fan for over 30 years now, and I encourage you to talk on behalf of yourself, but not the rest of Juventus and football fans. Arrogant people like you make a bad image for any club

Please disregard mohammed the poor clown. The circus has left him behind and he is looking for a place to tell his jokes

  6. @Ros
Finally a Rubentino with a comment that makes sense. What a shame that you’re only one in a million.

  7. @Gibbie Smalls Juventus doesn’t start pellegrini, chiesa was injured, and locatelli occasionally starts. Not sure where in the world you are getting your information from. Second, inter milan started way more italians than Juventus last year. There were games that featured Rannochia, Dambrosio, Bastoni, Darmian, Sensi, Barella, and Gagliardini or a combination of a majority of those players. Do some research and watch other games besides juventus before making an egregious statement like that.

  8. This article comment section is highly entertaining. Fake news, facts, trash talk and funnies; you guys crack us up. Keep it coming, keep it cool.
