Torino are reportedly interested in making a move for West Ham forward Nikola Vlasic before the end of this transfer window.

The Granata have had a fairly difficult summer and the leaked argument between coach Ivan Juric and sporting director Davide Vagnati did nothing to help matters. That clash has seemingly proven to be a turning point, however, with Torino now working to try and quickly improve their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino have joined the list of clubs keen to pick up Vlasic this summer. The 24-year-old Croatian forward is no longer in David Moyes’ project in East London and West Ham may be open to sending him away on loan.

Torino president Urbano Cairo was already interested in Vlasic at the start of this summer, believing him to be a strong replacement for Josip Brekalo, and an offer could materialise at some point soon, although the Granata will have to fend off stiff competition from a number of other interested clubs.

  1. Would be a good signing if West Ham were willing to pay some of his wages, but I’d be surprised if he was interested.
