Milan are ready to send talented teenager Marko Lazetic away on loan this summer and Torino, Empoli and Spezia are all reportedly interested.

The 18-year-old Serbian forward joined the Rossoneri in the January transfer window from Red Star in a deal worth around €4m. Milan clearly believe in Lazetic’s potential and handed him a four-year contract, integrating him into their youth setup.

As highlighted by journalist Nicolo Schira, Torino, Empoli and Spezia are all interested in picking up Lazetic on a loan deal this month and they’ve all explored a move with Milan.

The Rossoneri and the player will now evaluate their options before making a decision at some point in the coming weeks, likely sooner rather than later.

The 18-year-old Lazetic is an intelligent and athletic forward, known for his strong off the ball movement, link-up play and finishing. Should his development continue as planned, he could break into the Milan first team at some point in the next few years, looking an exciting prospect.

  1. Total waste of time. There is zero point in l.o.a.n.i.n.g youth players to another club in Serie A because they all have the same issue with giving youth players a chance. They don’t play. The only youth player at Milan who has made it is Calabria who never went out on l.o.a.n. Every other l.o.a.n. failed to achieve its stated goal. This about moving players around. Keeping them off the books. It’s an accounting exercising. Not even a good one. No sane business could be run this way. It’s this parallel sport called the Football Transfer Market. It makes no footballing or business sense. It’s been nice not knowing you Lazetic. Goodbye.
