Torino are considering making a move to bring last season’s loanee Valentino Lazaro back to the Stadio Olimpico Grande according to recent reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

As per Wednesday’s report, Torino made contact with Inter on Wednesday, with the club hoping to provide Ivan Juric with a new player out wide before the start of the 2023-24 season, which kicks off at the weekend.

Lazaro, who joined Inter from Hertha Berlin in 2019, is still contracted to the Nerazzurri for another year, until the summer of 2024. He has been out on loans with Newcatsle, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Benfica and Torino since the time of his signing.

Last season, Lazaro turned out 23 times in Serie A under Juric, helping the team achieve a 10th place finish in the league.

Torino are also reportedly still exploring a deal for Atalanta right-back Brandon Soppy, although a proposal involving Wilfried Stephane Singo moving in the other direction was not of interest to La Dea.
