Torino chief Urbano Cairo claimed Cristiano Ronaldo ‘didn’t act like a champion’ on Saturday and that some ‘incredible decisions’ went in Juventus’ favour.
Ronaldo’s penalty secured Juve a 1-0 win in the Derby della Mole, but the goal was followed by the No 7 chiding Toro goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo, while Cairo claimed his side were unfairly treated by officials.
“A champion like Ronaldo should never do such a gesture,” he told Radio Rai.

“A champion like Ronaldo should never do such a gesture,” he told Radio Rai.
“He taunted a goalkeeper who almost saved his penalty… If he’s the champion he’s supposed to be, he shouldn’t do such things.
“I’ve written down a list of incredible decisions that went against us. Everyone saw what happened: there was the incident with Blaise Matuidi, who pushed Andrea Belotti, and Alex Sandro holding back Simone Zaza.
“They were two incidents that should at least have been reviewed by VAR, although we’re not the only ones who have been penalised this year.
“The psychological subordination is still there: in recent years, for example, Juventus, who are stronger than us, have had a series of incredible decisions go their way.
“I count at least five going against us. VAR as a democracy is going backwards.”
