Krzysztof Piatek seems set for another Serie A return as both Torino and Salernitana look to sign the Pole, reports suggest.

The 27-year-old returned to Hertha Berlin last month after a decent six-month loan spell with Fiorentina, where he scored six goals in 18 appearances. Piatek seems incredibly unlikely to break back into the Hertha squad, so a departure in the remaining days of the transfer window is probable.

As reported by TuttoSalernitana, Torino have recently expressed interest in Piatek and have requested information for a possible move from Hertha. Salernitana have been keen on the Polish forward for a while now, but have to wait for the player’s decision.

Piatek is waiting until the last few days of the market to make up his mind, so Torino could overtake Salernitana should their interest turn concrete.

Piatek is best remembered for his six month spell with Genoa, where he scored 19 goals in 21 games. A move to Milan followed, but he couldn’t replicate that form, netting 16 in 41.
