Torino and Leicester City are reportedly in talks over Dennis Praet’s permanent move to the Stadio Grande Torino and a new option has emerged for the two clubs.

The former Sampdoria man joined the Granata on loan with an option to buy for €15m in the summer.

The 27-year-old has recently returned to action following a foot injury and has managed two goals and as many assists in 19 Serie A appearances this term. Juric wants to work with him in 2022-23, so Torino have already opened talks with the Foxes.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, the Granata are trying to lower Leicester City’s economic demands. The Foxes, on the other hand, are open to letting the player remain on loan at Torino for one more season, but in this case, they would add an obligation to buy in the region of €12-13m.

Talks between the two parties are ongoing. Praet is no longer on Leicester City’s plans but the Premier League side don’t want to sell him on the cheap after investing €20m to sign him from Sampdoria in 2019.
