Torino are reportedly working on a deal to bring in Sunderland’s record signing Didier Ndong.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Torino have turned to Ndong to strengthen their midfield and are in talks with Sunderland over a payment plan.

The Gabon international became the Black Cats’ most expensive arrival when they paid Lorient €15m two years ago.

However, he endured back-to-back relegations with the English side and did not make any first-team appearances during a loan spell with Watford last season.
