Fiorentina star David De Gea is the best-performing Serie A player in the opening ten rounds, followed by Mateo Retegui and Marcus Thuram.

Fiorentina are flying after a tough start to the season, and their star keeper, De Gea, contributed to a 1-0 win over Genoa on Thursday.

As reported by Fantacalcio, De Gea is the best-performing Serie A player in the opening ten rounds. The ranking is based on average player ratings from Italian sports papers, considering footballers with at least 50% of league appearances.

The ex-Manchester United star is followed by Italy international Mateo Retegui, the current top scorer in Serie A, and Thuram, the second-best scorer in the league.
