Following the close of the Serie A transfer window on Friday night, we can now reveal the top 10 most expensive signings made by Italian clubs this summer.

Juventus made the two most expensive signings in Serie A this summer with their acquisitions of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta and Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, who cost over €110m combined.

Napoli have four players who feature in the top 10 list following their signings of Alessandro Buongiorno, David Neres, Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay.

Roma have three entries on the list, namely Artem Dovbyk who arrived from Girona, Matias Soule from Juventus and Enzo Le Fee from Stade Rennais.

The final addition to the list is Mateo Retegui, who joined Atalanta to replace his injured international colleague Gianluca Scamacca.

Inter had a relatively quiet summer on the transfer market, and do not have any players in the most expensive signings list.

There are no Milan entries either, despite spending around €70m on the purchases of Youssouf Fofana, Strahinja Pavlovic, Emerson Royal and Alvaro Morata.
