Luca Toni confirmed he is “99 per cent” likely to stay at Hellas Verona next season.

The 38-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of this month and he said he would take some time to decide on his future.

“Next year I will 99 per cent be at Verona,” he told RadioDue Rai.

“It’s not official yet, because right now the President has to choose the new directors and then he’ll move on to the players, so I’ll wait.”
