World Cup winner Luca Toni questions the salary demands from Paulo Dybala, as he feels the Argentine has ‘never shown that he’s the leader’ at Juventus.

The former Italy and Juventus striker spoke to Tuttosport about Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘attitude towards the group’ at the Allianz Stadium, but also gave his opinion on the complicated renewal with Dybala.

“It’s clear that this is the main problem,” Toni told the newspaper. “But if he really asked for €14m or €15m in a moment like this…

“This guy has a great potential, but he has never shown that he is the leader of Juventus. I don’t know if this depends on the presence of Ronaldo.”

Dybala has struggled with injuries this term and has only played 13 times in Serie A, contributing three goals and two assists in the process.
