Sandro Tonali thanks Milan supporters after extending his contract to 2027 with a doubled salary. ‘You know how deep my love is for these colours.’
The Italy international put pen to paper on the new deal to June 2027 this afternoon, which will reportedly see him earn circa €3m per season, doubling the wage he had been on since the move from Brescia in 2020.
“Hi guys, I’m delighted with my contract renewal and to have extended my stay at Milan,” said Tonali on the official club Instagram account.
“You know how deep my love is for these colours. I thank you for the support you provide us. With your backing, we can achieve great things.”
Tonali has never disguised that he grew up supporting the Rossoneri and jumped at the chance to join them, even when negotiations with Inter seemed to be at an advanced stage.
He also accepted a lower salary at the time in order to push the move through, with the promise he would be rewarded later on and that moment has now arrived.
